A Short Shop Break — New Ducks, a Crocodile Cloth Wipe Box, and a New Printer in the Shop

TML Fun Creations will be taking a few weeks of downtime, and during this time I will not be in the shop. That means production, shipping, and new custom work will be paused until I return.

This is only a temporary break, not a shutdown. The shop will be back up and running soon, and there are already several new products and ideas waiting in line.

Some of these projects have been in the works for a while, and once I’m back in the shop, the printers will be running again and new designs will start moving forward.

What This Means for Orders

Since I won’t be in the shop during this break, I won’t be able to print, pack, or ship orders like normal. I appreciate everyone’s patience while the shop is paused.

If you’ve been looking at something in the shop or thinking about placing a custom order, please keep in mind that turnaround times may be delayed until I return.

Small shop life means everything is handled one order at a time — from the design work and printing to cleanup, packing, and shipping. I truly appreciate everyone who understands that sometimes the shop needs a short pause.

A New Printer Has Joined the Shop

One of the bigger updates this month is that a Bambu Lab H2C has been added to the shop.

This new printer gives TML Fun Creations more room to grow. It opens up new possibilities for testing designs, working with more color options, printing larger parts, and trying new ideas that may have been harder to produce before.

For customers, that means more creative products can move from “idea” to “real thing.”

The H2C should help with projects like:

• More detailed custom ducks

• Multi-color design testing

• New accessories and product prototypes

• Larger design options

• Better material and color testing

• More flexibility for future shop products

Like every new piece of equipment, there will be testing, learning, and probably a few “well, that didn’t work” moments along the way. But that is part of building better products.

The printer is already here, and once I’m back in the shop, I’ll be putting it to work.

New Ducks Are Coming Soon

One of the things I’m most excited about is a new batch of custom ducks.

The ducks have turned into their own little world of ideas — cruise ducks, off-road ducks, personalized ducks, themed ducks, vacation ducks, and plenty of designs that are just made to be fun.

A few of the upcoming duck designs include:

Southern Belle Duck

The Southern Belle Duck is a dressed-up duck with a vintage Southern-style look. This design has charm, personality, and a little extra fancy built right in.

It will be a fun option for gifts, festivals, cruise ducking, Southern-themed events, or anyone who loves a duck with a little style.

Swimmer Duck

The Swimmer Duck is a summer-ready design with swim gear styling. This one is perfect for pool days, beach trips, swim teams, cruises, vacations, and anyone who spends more time near water than on dry land.

It is meant to be fun, bright, and easy to personalize for different events or groups.

Custom Cap Duck

The Custom Cap Duck is designed to be flexible and personal. This duck wears a cap and can be customized with different shirt colors, hat colors, names, and other personal details.

It is a great option for gifts, groups, clubs, teams, events, or just making a duck that feels like it belongs to you.

These ducks are the kind of projects that start with one idea and somehow turn into ten more. Once I’m back in the shop, I’ll be working on getting more duck designs tested, printed, photographed, and added.

The new printer should also help open the door for even more creative duck designs in the future.

The New Crocodile Cloth Wipe Box Design

Another product in the works is a new 3D-printed wipe box designed for Crocodile Cloth All-Purpose Cleaning Wipes.

This design started as a simple idea and quickly turned into one of those projects where every little detail matters. The lid, opening, panels, fit, and overall look all have to work together so the wipes are easy to access while the container still looks nice sitting out.

The goal is to make a wipe box that feels more finished and decorative than the standard Crocodile Cloth packaging — something that can sit on a workbench, garage shelf, craft table, shop counter, laundry room, utility room, or anywhere heavy-duty cleaning wipes are used regularly.

It still needs testing and final adjustments, but it is getting closer. Once I’m back in the shop, this will be one of the projects I’m looking forward to getting back on the printer.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day was this month, and it is always worth taking a moment to remember the brave men and women who fought and gave their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten, not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
